Small bathing resort with 13'000 inhabitants, directly by the sea, in a valley, situated at the foot of a mountain, 15 km from Saint Jean de Luz, 2 km from Irun (Espagne), 37 km from Bayonne. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. Disco, casino, folklore evenings, cinema, attractions. Indoor pool, thalassotherapy. Access: motorway A63 Bordeaux - Hendaye, exit number 1 "Béhobie". Railway station "Hendaye-Ville". Bus service. Fontarrabie 5 km. San Sebastian 24 km. For arrivals by plane: airport Biarritz (BIQ) 32 km, San Sebastian (EAS) 5 km. Hendaye-Ville is on a hill, 2.5 km from Hendaye-Plage. The river Bidasoa separates the town from Spain. Hendaye-Plage is ideal for children. Surfing and boarding.

All watersports available in Hendaye-Plage. Sandy beach, 3 km long, gently shelving, with beach facilities. Swimming pool 2.5 km. Sports harbour. Diving, surfing, canoeing.
