Ideal position for relaxing or walking holidays. Carefully renovated with attention to the original characteristic of a Tuscan farmhouse. The building dates back to the 14th century and it was property of the Frati Camaldolesi and the Spedale degli Innocenti. It is the only one that has been renovated together with a part on the back which is seldom used. There is no heating in the house. Farm-house "I Camini" 4 km from the centre of Castelfranco di Sopra, 32 km from the centre of Arezzo, 32 km from the centre of Firenze, in a quiet, sunny position, in the countryside. Private: grounds, garden, meadow, orchard, swimming pool (3 x 2 m, depth 70 cm, 24.04.-23.10.), terrace, garden furniture, barbecue, children's playground. In the house: washing machine. Linen change weekly. Parking. 280 m. >>Castelfranco di Sopra, situated on a hill above the Arno valley, was founded in the 13th century by Florence as a military foothold. Within the walls, there are beautiful houses in medieval and Renaissance style built along the small horizontally running alleyways. The Badia di Soffena abbey is just outside, which has recently been renovated and it's medieval charm restored. Historical, quiet village with 2'700 inhabitants, in the eastern part of the region, situated at the foot of the Pratomagno, on a slope with beautiful view, 43 km south-east from Firenze, 43 km north-west from Arezzo. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. More possibilities for shopping 8 km. Access: motorway A1 Firenze - Roma, exit number "Valdarno". Then road SP. 8. Access by train Firenze - Roma. Railway station "San Giovanni V.A." 8 km. Bus service. For arrivals by plane: airport Firenze (FLR) 55 km.
