Well-known city, in the southern part of the region, in a convenient position, 500 km south from Madrid, 160 km south from Córdoba, 200 km south-east from Sevilla. The district of La Malagueta, such as the Larios road, is an important leisure centre. On a cultural level, it is worth visiting the castle, the Alcazaba and the cathedral. Semana Santa fiesta and the Feria de Agosto. Teh city is noted for its cosmopolitan atmosphere with its Andalucian origins.
