Well-known, idyllic fishing village with 11'500 inhabitants in the north-eastern part of the region directly by the sea, in a busy, convenient position with beautiful view, 150 km north-east from Barcelona, 15 km north-east from Figueres, 60 km from Frontera Francesa. In the resort: supermarket, shops, butchers, bakers, boutiques, post office, bank, restaurant, bar, disco, evening entertainment, cinema, attractions. Besides: chemist, doctor. More possibilities for shopping and entertainments 6 - 15 km. Access: motorway A17 Perpignan - Barcelona, exit number "Figueres" 20 km from Roses. Railway station "Figueres". Figueres 20 km. Llançà 20 km. For arrivals by plane: airport Barcelona (BCN) 165 km, Girona (GRO) 60 km. Situated to the north of the pretty Golf de Roses, Roses has a wide seaside promenade bordered by palm trees. You can swim on several pretty sandy beaches in the bays of Canyelles, Almadraba, Monjoy and Joncols.
